The perfect fit is someone completely at home writing SQL and using Tableau or similar data visualization to communicate complex information and powerful insights in a simple way. We also expect this role to be competent in data ETL and know basics of data science/machine learning. We have a strong bias for action, so you'll need to partner effectively to understand business problems and the type of analysis needed to inform strategy and set KPIs of success. You'll be a great fit for this role if you have limitless curiosity, enjoy connecting datasets to find patterns and trends, and value bringing truth to light for influencing decision making.

What you will do:

  • Work with our large volume and variability of analytics data to understand trends and patterns in both customer facing data and operations data
  • Work with business stakeholders to tease out the data analysis needed to drive decisions and measure progress
  • Deliver analysis in Tableau and Redash (or similar tools) to communicate and allow others to explore the analysis
  • Educate and learn from internal teams on analytics best practices, relevant knowledge and specific skills

Required Qualifications:

  • You have got over 3 years of industry experience under your belt and posses strong SQL query and performance tuning experiences
  • You are an expert in analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlikview, and have an excellent eye and attention to detail
  • You have used extensively a scripting language such as python and using APIs calls
  • You earned an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science or electrical engineering
  • Your command of English language for both writing and presentation is top-notch
  • You are someone who enjoys being part of a high performing team and working in a fast paced environment with plenty of opportunities to learn and develop
  • You are perceive as a good storyteller with a sense of humor
  • You are always a team player

Desired Qualifications:

  • You are someone with experience in ETL and data modeling as a data engineer
  • You have got experience with Hadoop/Spark, Presto/Athena or other Big Data and analytics frameworks
  • You are comfortable with machine learning and data science
