The Senior Compensation Analyst researches, analyzes, and assists in the design and development of compensation programs to meet business line and corporate objectives. The incumbent provides compensation support to lines of business by researching and analyzing compensation practices and policies of peer companies. He/She acts as a resource to line managers regarding incentive plan design, salary administration and job evaluation. The incumbent works with human resources and line of business staff to address moderate to complex compensation issues.
Analyze salary surveys and other available competitor information to ensure the existence of a competitive compensation structure. Review internal effectiveness of current Compensation programs. Use results of analyses to recommend program design changes and annual increase budgets.
Provide ongoing support and consultative services to Human Resources and line managers in the interpretation of compensation policy, explanation of operating procedures, and recommendation of alternatives to effectively meet respective business needs.
Analyze large data sets of incentive, increase modeling.
Participate in development of Comp systems by: participating in the design of the system, completing system testing, and creating or helping to create the data loads.
Answer questions and administer comp systems during the annual processes.
Participate in efforts to revise and streamline Compensation processes.
Providing World Class Customer Service.
3+ years of previous work-related experience required
Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and presenting complex data.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - a must!
Attention to detail as well as the ability to comprehend strategic framework/impact.
Bachelor Degree in Finance or HR related field
