The Team:

  • The Integration Program Management (iPM) department is a capability engine located within Integration Services; we are our stakeholders trusted advocate and strategic advisor, the customer facing component of athenahealths organization responsible for delivering interoperability. We create and leverage partnerships to lead integration forward by driving innovation and clarity and providing lasting value for our customers.

  • This position within iPM is located within the Core service zone (team), the team dedicated to delivering our core integration to our customers taking advantage of athenahealths established products and integration offerings.

Job Responsibilities

  • Represent and articulate Integration Services point of view within athena and with our customers

  • Manage the delivery of integration solutions for customers taking advantage of our most widespread athenaOne integration product suite

  • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders (including customers project team, senior management and C-Suite level leaders) and ensure tangible value is created by managing the onboarding of integration solutions for our customer base

  • Collaborate with other internal stakeholders (including Technical Build Teams, Customer Success Managers, Relationship Managers, Product and Development) to ensure implementations are successful

  • Manage special projects necessary in order to manage industry or company change, and/or projects of strategic importance

  • Conduct and coordinate cross-functional events and meetings to better understand how various tasks are executed and how we as an organization may be able to create more efficient and effective processes

Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) required, advanced degree a plus

  • Experience and/or knowledge of clinic workflows and IT operations a plus

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience, including management of technical projects with significant cross functional interdependencies

  • environment and the demands of the business as well as the intricacies of the clinical environment, is a plus

  • Ability to lead technology and/or healthcare operations engagements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
