• Youll develop complex apps that are making a material impact on the world and will be seen by millions of users
• Youll write a lot of Typescript and JavaScript for supporting a variety of technologies including Angular and Node.js
• Youll be a part of agile software development practices and peer/code reviews
• Youll interface with clients. We estimate about 80% hands-on development and 20% client interaction & documentation
• Youll level up from other Rocketeers, and youll help your co-workers level up as well

• You have multiple years experience writing software used by lots of people
• You have multiple years experience with front end frameworks like Angular, React and Vue (AngularJS knowledge is a bonus)
• You have strong opinions about Typescript and its usage in a codebase
• Youve worked with and fully understand the nuances of using Promises in Javascript
• Youve worked with OAuth providers and understand the mechanisms of an OAuth 2.0 handshake
• Youve worked with authentication systems and understand the security requirements and use of JWTs
• Youve worked with and understand the merits and use cases for both relational and non-relational databases
• You have multiple years experience with a backend technology like Node/Express, Ruby on Rails, Python /Flask/Django, etc.
• Youve worked with and understand how to leverage source control tools, preferably using git
• Youve worked with agile software processes before
• Youve worked with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools
• Youve deployed a project to a hosting provider and managed the DNS records for it
• Youre a natural problem-solver and willing to take initiative
• You enjoy talking to clients and are good at distilling technical information for a variety of roles within a business (ie good at wearing many hats)
