We are seeking an Account Based Marketing Manager to join our team.
About the Role:
The Account Based Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy and implementation of effective Account-Based Marketing programs to hospitals and IDNs across the US to support sales strategy in order to achieve our booking objectives. The role will also build strong partnerships with key stakeholders within the marketing and sales organization to partner closely in targeting the selected ABM accounts. This position will be based in Lexington, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Account specific marketing planning aligned to sales strategies for account-appropriate offerings
- Leverage marketing programs and account information including stage in the buyers journey, leverage, location, software infrastructure to deploy the right programmatic and account-specific tactical mix to deliver the right content at the right time
- Track intent and other responses from accounts, evaluate how these align with account strategy, and coordinate with Sales if needed.
- Work with sales to identify gaps in key personas and contact information within strategic accounts; develop data and insight strategy to add key personas and contacts within accounts
- Work with sales to ensure and monitor that the appropriate sales strategies are defined for target accounts
- Work closely with the Demand Gen and Events team to launch relevant account campaigns focused on sales velocity, engagement, and new bookings
- Communicate with sales in order to gain buy-in, understanding, and participation in marketing programs
- Build and maintain ongoing communications with the regional sales VPs and managers, and the Demand Generation, Events, Web and Creative, and Customer Marketing team
- Maintain an accurate and actionable understanding of contact data quality for targeted accounts list
- Review and provide analysis of programmatic Account-Based campaigns and unique account-specific tactics for targeted accounts list
- Educate sales team on the sales and marketing tech stack to ensure usability in the company investments, including creating and analyzing Salesforce and Engagio reports
Required Skills/ Experience:
- 5+ years B2B demand generation/field marketing experience in high technology B2B enterprise software or SaaS with proven account-based marketing specific knowledge and skills
- Knowledge and experience with sales and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce.com, Marketo, Engagio, etc.
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, related field or equivalent experience is required; MBA is desired
- Experience working in marketing with proven success and high initiative in the creation and execution of effective demand generation marketing campaigns
- Understand complex buying/selling processes involving multiple decision-makers for software and services purchases
- Experience with sales operations, reporting, marketing & campaign dashboards and KPIs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must possess excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Strong ability to influence others and work collaboratively with other departments
- Ability to manage large and detailed projects to tight timelines. Responds under pressures of time and uncertainty
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to earn trust and respect from sales management and peers
- High energy, self-directed, team player
