ERT are hiring a Security Analyst to join our newly formed Security operations group (SecOps) based at our Nottingham Office
As the Security Analyst you will implement and administer a security platform to ensure that our IT systems, applications and data are secured with the correct and appropriate levels of access and privilege.
This key appointment of Security Analyst, will liaise and work directly with our R&D, Product Management/Owner, IT services and Data Privacy functions to implement Security by design.
Responsibilities
Implement and manage ERT’s Identity and Access Management Platform (IAM) and Privileged Access Management Platform (PAM). Integrate these solutions with ERT’s global Microsoft Active
Directory services
Establish the run-time management of security tools and processes for ensuring high availability,
including deployment architecture, operational monitoring, backup and restore and managing
centralized roles/rights.
Working with IT Compliance, develop, document and establish new policies regarding identity and
access management and other security related initiatives.
Develop, document and implement a layered security platform and associated processes enabling
core cloud and on premise operational requirements.
Partner with Development (R&D) and DevOps teams to insure layered security for new ERT products
and services
Ensure ERT systems and process security profiles adhere to security and GCP best practices for network, host, applications and access security methodologies
Lead, document and implement/instrument a cloud security profile for user access and entitlements.
Qualifications
Demonstrate understanding of Information Security best practices
Experience and knowledge of Cyberark and/or PingIdentity is highly desirable
Implementation and management experience with hardware and software installs for directory services (AD, LDAP) and experience with integrating directory services with single sign-on
platforms.
Experience implementing layered security practices for network, host, applications, data and access to IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services in a hybrid deployment environment.
Experience in developing and deploying security specific solutions including the automation of repeatable security tasks and controls
Strong practical knowledge of web authentication / authorization standards
Solid oral and/or written communication and collaboration skills.
Experience implementing and operating security technologies and processes in a hybrid cloud environment, such as AWS or Azure, or colocation-premise.
Cloud-based security run-time management experience
Experience with software-defined network, compute and storage platforms
Strong networking fundamentals. Understand TCIPIP, VLAN’s, DNS, load balancing and software-defined layer 2/3 rule configurations.
