Solutions Architects evangelize Device42 to potential customers. Youll work side by side with the sales team and as the product expert in the sales process, youll articulate the best options for potential customers. This role requires technological depth and awareness while being mindful of the sales process.


This position can be based in Boston, MA or West Haven, CT

What you'll do:

  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert throughout the sales process.
  • Owning and managing various activities including technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concept projects.
  • Build and increase Device42s relevance with customers by qualifying customers needs, desired outcomes, and benefits and positioning Device42 in context to it.
  • Understand and evangelize Device42, its competitors, value proposition, and positioning to more effectively field advanced questions from customers and partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams

What you bring:

  • 2+ years in a sales engineering role, preferably with enterprise customers
  • The ability to effectively demonstrate unique value propositions based on individual customer needs
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts into business value
  • Experience and understanding of cloud technologies, cloud migration tools, and data center technology strongly preferred
  • Understanding of three-tier architecture and load balancing
  • Network administration knowledge or experience
