Who Were Looking For:

As a Release Engineer on Starrys System Software team you will have the opportunity to develop cutting edge tools and CI/CD pipelines to enable the delivery of software to Starrys fleet of mmWave radios and WiFi products. We embrace the adoption of modern, high performance technologies to support our culture of fast paced innovation. In keeping with this, ideally, you will have expert level knowledge of git, Python 3.7+, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. Since much our software is developed and targeted towards Linux using C, C++, and Rust, familiarity with common build systems in this space such as GNU Make, Autotools, and Meson is also a plus.

Who You Are:

  • Familiar with embedded Linux build frameworks such as Buildroot or Yocto.
  • Driven to learn new technologies.
  • Experienced with Google Cloud Platform and / or Amazon Web Services.

Bonus Points for...

  • Knowledge of Rust or Go.
  • Experience with OTA software update systems such as Mender, fwupd, Google Cloud IoT core, or RAUC.
  • Experience with OSTree or casync.
