Bullhorn: Project Manager II

Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, the Project Manager II will play a key role in supporting Bullhorns internal IT and engineering infrastructure. You will be responsible for planning and executing a variety of projects across internal technical functions, with a focus on Security, Information Technology, and Engineering, and managing sub-projects with more autonomy as assigned. You will also act as a consultant, guiding staff through best practices and solution definition in order to uphold quality and increase project success. You work closely with the Lead Project Manager and all project teams to ensure detailed planning of activities, comprehensive documentation and communication of critical project information, and sound decision making through thorough analysis of information.

As a Project Manager II, a typical day might include:

  • Driving all assigned projects through the PMO project process with the project team and stakeholders across the project lifecycle

  • Defining, managing, and executing on project scope, schedule, and resourcing needs

  • Leading cross functional teams in the development and completion of key project milestones

  • Preparing status reports and identifying, communicating, and managing all risks/issues/dependencies through to resolution

  • Managing expectations and ensuring alignment across the project team and stakeholders

This job might be for you if you have:

  • 3+ years experience in Security/IT/Engineering project management

  • The ability to partner with cross-functional teams and bring multiple communication styles and work types together to accomplish a common goal

  • Superb problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to influence thinking and gain acceptance

  • A proven track record of delivering projects on-time and within budget

  • The ability to prioritize tasks, issues, escalations across multiple projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrated competence, confidence and professionalism that inspires trust

  • Persistence, agility, flexibility, and the drive to deliver results

Bonus points for:

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with managing and communication across all levels of an organization
  • Experience with a variety of project management methodologies
  • Experience working in the SaaS industry
  • Experience working with Smartsheet and/or Jira
