As Product Marketing Lead you will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for new products and features within Profitero’s eCommerce analytics platform. This is a highly-visible and important job that will put you at the center of our company’s most strategic initiatives. You will get to collaborate and work closely with every part of the company, including product managers, marketing, sales, customer success and analytics. You'll get to make a huge impact as your words, ideas and work will be seen and read by thousands of eCommerce professionals working at top brands around the world. You will be the most knowledgeable person at the company when it comes to understanding our customers, our market, our competitors and the value created by our product.
Who you are:
- Have at 5+ years working experience in product marketing at a B2B SaaS or analytics company
- Experience with SaaS companies that had channel partner models
- An awesome storyteller and can construct a simple, memorable message
- Have superior copywriting and powerpoint skills
- Excel at working across teams and motivating people with different agendas to achieve common goals
- Thrive in fast paced environments with lots of change and upward mobility
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit with obsession for collaborating, learning, improving and results
- A strategic thinker but also a doer (enjoy rolling up your sleeves to execute)
- You have a high "do to say" ratio
- You are incredibly organized, accountable and process-oriented
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute the launch strategy for critical product and service launches representing multiple millions in new revenue for our company
- Implement repeatable, best in class processes for bringing new products and offers to market quickly and effectively
- Develop pricing recommendations for new products
- Create positioning, messaging and collateral for products and new features
- Validate messaging with customers and gain buy-in across various departments and stakeholders throughout the company
- Advance our knowledge of customer segments, customer needs and buying personas to make our products and communications more relevant
- Talk to customers A LOT; learn about their pain points and inject that knowledge back into the organization so we can create better products
- Oversee all standard sales enablement materials used by the sales and account management teams
- Drive on-going communication for product updates
- Coordinate with our marketing, sales and customer success teams globally to ensure they can drive customer interest, adoption and success on our products
It would be nice if you:
- Previously worked in a start-up type of environment
- Live in Boston or NY (but we are open to remote in the United States provided you are comfortable working within EST time zone hours)
