Product Manager - Services

 

Position Summary

Partner with our Professional Services leadership team to identify, create, structure, price, and launch new offerings that combine technology and services for the benefit of customers and HealthEdge. As the Product Manager for Services you’ll work closely with customers, partners, professional services, engineering, and other product managers to create, develop, and launch offerings based on both technology and services to drive shortened implementations and upgrades, increase revenue, and reduce costs. Further, you’ll be responsible for managing with professional services the roadmap of upcoming offerings including the vetting of new innovations for customer value and determining which offerings should become part of our standard product portfolio. 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Professional Services leadership identifying, vetting, building, and launching new offerings that drive speed, quality, revenue, and reduce cost
  • Working with Professional Services leadership, understand the business objectives of the organization and develop a roadmap of offerings that help the organization meet their goals for their customers
  • Work with customers, partners, and cross-functionally to develop requirements
  • Drive and coordinate go-to-market activities with key stakeholders, including Customers, Account Executives, Sales, Professional Services, and Cloud Operations, to create and deliver a great customer experience
  • Work with Technical Analysts and engineering to lead and mentor the translation of business objectives and epics into prioritized stories ready for development
  • Work with engineering scrum teams to develop, test, document, accept, and release specific product features
  • Work with the compliance team to anticipate regulatory changes that affect the solution
  • Lead periodic on-site customer and partner visits
  • Lead internal training and knowledge transfer for key solution and integration features

 

Required Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in a SaaS-based, Agile/Scrum technology company and all related processes (e.g. story mapping, requirements writing, prioritized backlogs, product ownership within a scrum team)
  • 3+ years’ experience working in or with a service organization that serves the healthcare market and/or the software B2B market
  • 3+ years’ experience in product management with increasing levels of responsibility
  • 3+ years’ experience leading cross-functional teams in successfully launching new products and/or services into market
  • Demonstrated project experience leading initiatives toward defined outcomes under the triple constraint of time, cost, and resources
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor other product owners in business requirements writing, user story development, and prioritization
  • Proven track record working with enterprise customers
  • Clear thinking and the ability to translate ideas, concepts, context, and business or technical rationale into written and/or presentation format for a variety of internal (management) or external (customers) audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills … people like working with you

  • High “Say:Do” ratio … you walk your talk
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or healthcare

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated business acumen and business domain knowledge in the healthcare industry in general and in the Payer, insurance, or care management markets segment in particular
  • Advanced degree in engineering, business, or healthcare
  • Experience with government plans/program such as Medicare, Medicaid, Duals
