We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Platform Experience team within our Product Management organization. This is an essential role that gives you the opportunity to drive product design and deployment of product services for our clients; as well as build the base technology layer to enable developers and partners to participate in our ecosystem. You will do so in an exciting environment driven by a desire to enable more efficient and effective care.

The Opportunity:

  • This Product Manager will be responsible for a vital function in healthcare: ensuring the right users have the right access to applications and data. You will work with clients, designers and engineers to implement a new modern role-based access control service that evolves the current system to one that meets increasingly complex regulatory and client needs and our transition to an open API-first technology pattern.

  • This position will work daily within scrum teams defining and writing user stories, prioritizing product backlogs, and making trade off decisions between scope and schedule.

  • You are an outcome-oriented Product Manager with experience in Healthcare and/or Identity and Access Management

  • You have experience collaborating with Developers/Engineers as stakeholders

  • You have demonstrated the ability to propose the most appropriate approach for the need at hand; and can quickly pivot if this approach fails

  • You see the value in proactively making recommendations for ongoing support (updates, self-service)

  • You have demonstrated success at driving results in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities

  • You have experience working with colleagues to broaden or narrow the scope of a problem; in order to enable action and create manageable efforts

  • You are interested in industry developments and trends

The Team: The Platform Experience team provides the tools and patterns to enable users to interact with the appropriate tools and data at the right time and place to provide high-quality, accessible care for all. We consider identity and access management a critical strategic function in enabling a connected healthcare system, not just a security one.

Job Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert in customer, technology, and regulatory requirements that govern how users can and should access data under a range of circumstances

  • Foster an API-first mentality and execution approach across our organization

  • Contribute to a product vision, develop business cases, ensure a product (or set of product features) meets business requirements, and drive the creation and delivery of the product

  • Define epics and user stories- clearly articulating business requirements for the problems were trying to solve, including UX/CX/Support requirements with a strong focus on outcomes

  • Drive ongoing backlog allocations and prioritization of opportunities

Typical Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management or engineering experience

  • Experience working with stakeholders in a business environment across cross-functional groups

  • Understanding of product management best practices, including agile development environments

  • Healthcare or Identity and Access Management (oAuth) experience ideal

  • Ability to understand and engage on highly technical details of a problem you should be able to hold your own as a technical SME with architects and engineering stakeholders.
