As part of the Content Platform team, the Product Manager for Internal Tools will drive products critical to the effective operation of the Tripadvisor site and app. This includes building relationships with internal user groups; influencing the product strategy and roadmap; gathering support to make informed build-vs-buy decisions; collaborating with Engineering to produce specifications that evolve the platforms feature set; and working closely with Engineering to ensure quality deliverables on time.
Ideal candidates for this role will have a desire to identify, measure, and solve user pain points as well as an enthusiasm for implementing features that enable efficiency and scalability, ultimately driving bottom-line growth. You should have experience working closely and independently with engineers, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to bring ideas to life. You are an innovator who understands how to bring concepts from requirements to implementation to measurement and rollout.

What youll do:

Lead product development initiatives with engineering and other internal stakeholders for the entire product development lifecycle.

Lead cross-functional teams, serving as product and part project manager, to define product specifications, establish milestones, and direct the development, implementation, and evolution of new features.

Develop written requirements and define success metrics and associated use cases for new projects, shepherding projects from ideation to test results analysis and iteration.

Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to increasingly complex business or technical problems.

Assist in prioritizing enhancements and bug fixes, while identifying thematic issues that can be solved with technology improvements.

Monitor key conversion metrics to support continual optimization of the product and business plan.
What were looking for:

3+ years of internet product management experience, preferably for internal tools or web platform products.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Happy spending much of the day connecting with team members in different functional areas.

Good business judgment when making decisions. Always considers the relevance/impact of each decision on the business.

Strong analytical skills. Able to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate effective action plans to resolve issues.

Goal orientation and demonstrated record of success in previous endeavors. Tenacious in solving complex problems.
