PlacePass: Product Manager

We are looking for an exceptional product leader to join the growing Product Management team at PlacePass. Were working with the worlds top travel and hospitality companies to transform the way people discover the world. As a Product Manager, youll work closely with senior stakeholders at our leading industry partners to build and shape innovative products, with a focus on our fast-growing transportation business. Youll have the opportunity to drive new and existing product initiatives, and help us find elegant, scalable solutions for a wide array of exciting challenges.

Founded in 2016 and located in the heart of Boston, PlacePass is building a world-class tours, activities, and events marketplace. In addition to the consumer brand, we power travel booking solutions for Fortune 500 partners across the hotel, air, and car sectors.

In this role you will:

  • Define the product vision and strategy for our transportation booking solutions
  • Translate your vision into a well-sequenced roadmap, aligning product initiatives with wider business objectives and cross-platform considerations
  • Build alignment with strategic partners on overall roadmap and sprint-based initiatives
  • Partner closely with design, engineering, and business teams to execute against your roadmap and continually improve team velocity
  • Execute rapid A/B testing and conversion optimization
  • Conduct user testing and evaluate data to inform future product decisions

A perfect candidate:

  • Has 3 to 5 years of direct product management experience at a direct-to-consumer e-commerce company
  • Has a track record of successfully conceptualizing new opportunities across all stages of the customer journey and building them to scale
  • Is an expert A/B tester who leans on data to inform decision-making
  • Is passionate about being the voice of the customer, and committed to improving our understanding of customer behavior
  • Is technically sophisticated and works closely with engineering to build products
  • Can strategically balance consumer, partner, and business interests while considering technical integration tradeoffs
  • Has an aptitude and interest in presenting to Fortune 500 partners
  • Is comfortable working with ambiguity - this role is fast-paced, fluid, and will frequently evolve based on partner, strategy, and product priorities
