One Door: Product Manager

The Opportunity: Today’s winning retailers are using digital technology to transform virtually every aspect of their businesses. We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team and make their mark on our unique cloud-based visual merchandising software, Merchandising Cloud.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Work with leading retailers and their partners to understand their needs, industry trends, and technical details necessary to document product requirements, to write use cases and user stories, and to help define MVPs. 

  • Strategize with UX, Engineering, and Product Management to build the best possible product roadmap. 

  • Collaborate across functions daily to bring your ideas to life. You’ll work with

    • Software Engineering to guide and evangelize your features’ development from Sprint 0 to delivery

    • UX & Design to conceptualize a unique User Experience that solves pressing retail problems

    • Client Services & Operations to drive customer adoption and continuous improvement

    • Sales & Marketing to communicate your features’ value proposition and market impact

  • Participate in product workshops, company-wide strategy presentations, product boot camps and other ad-hoc sessions as needed to gather input and promote product efforts.

  • Grow. Reporting to the Sr. Product Manager, you will hone your product management skills and learn how to drive change across enterprise software organizations. 

You’ll Have:

  • 1 -3 years of software management or related experience, ideally in Product Management (we’d also love to hear from you if you’ve worked in Business Analysis, QA, Project Management or Product Marketing and would like to grow into a Product Management role) 

  • Hands-on experience writing requirements and driving their delivery (with the examples to prove it)

  • The ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders both internal and external to One Door 

  • Strong presentation and communication skills 

  • An interest in “how the sausage is made” - being a part of the product lifecycle from ideation through delivery and support is exciting to you 

  • A resourceful and decisive nature and a willingness to advocate for your decisions based on your own data research

  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to prioritize competing demands

  • Empathy with individual users’ pain points and the ability to synthesize them into scalable solutions that work for a broader audience

  • A Bachelor's degree 

  • Retail, Supply Chain, or Merchandising experience (preferred but not necessary)
