Mobile Developer for AI Frameworks​

Are you interested in finding ways to apply your mobile software development skills to help shape the next generation infrastructure, that will power Artificial Intelligence in a variety of application domains? Our AI framework, written mostly with portable C++, runs on a variety of CPU and GPU architectures, in desktop, mobile, and embedded hardware.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and further develop the Neurala AI SDK for iOS and Android
  • Implement mobile AI applications with the Neurala SDK as demos and for client projects
  • Optimize the SDK performance on a variety of mobile platform

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field 
  • At least 2-3 years of iOS and/or Android software development experience 
  • Experience in building and packaging mobile applications and SDKs 
  • Computer vision or machine learning experience
  • Demonstrated expertise with C++ and Java, Objective-C / Swift a bonus 
  • Deep interest in leveraging the full capability of an underlying HW platform 
  • Experience in any of the following considered a plus: computer vision/ML/AI/OpenCL/CUDA 
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to write efficient and maintainable code 
  • Commitment to achieving objectives, results driven and adept at resolving competing priorities 
  • Understand what S&P 500 level customers expect in terms of quality 
  • Adaptability and flexibility 
  • Experience with Java Native Interface, and Swift to C/C++/Objective-C integration
  • Parallel programming experience with GPUs/FPGAs
  • Programming experience with modern C++ (11 and later)
  • Experience with build and test automation systems, especially CMake and Jenkins
  • Strong work ethic; comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company environment
