Reporting to the VP of Finance and Operations, the Merchant Payments Pricing Analyst will lead DipJar's pricing strategy for our donations and payments offerings. This role will support the organization by analyzing merchant statements and optimizing profitability of DipJar's pricing models, as well as opportunities brought in by our sales teams on a deal by deal basis. You will support the go-to-market (GTM) leadership team by creating trainings and materials that help our sales team to understand merchant agreements during customer evaluation, onboarding and relationship expansion. 
Key Desired Outcomes:
First 30 Days 
  • Gain a complete understanding of the DipJar platform and value proposition
  • Understand our go-to-market (GTM) strategy and become proficient in the DipJar selling methodology
  • Gain an understanding of the DipJar organizational structure internally as well as our key strategic alliances in the payments space
First 60 Days 
  • Work with the GTM team to support our pricing strategies through a thorough analysis of provided merchant agreements
  • Consult with key stakeholders to identify, define and document opportunities for pricing and process improvements 
  • Develop a template that can be leveraged to optimize our pricing processes
  • Develop training materials and curriculum that can be delivered to the GTM team to tech them the basics of optimizing pricing models
  • Complete all other onboarding activities as required 
120+ Days 
  • Ongoing support of the GTM organization including Sales, Marketing & Customer Success leading to accelerated new customer acquisition and growth
  • Ongoing optimization of our pricing models and analysis of our merchant and payment provider agreements
  • Ongoing creation and maintenance of reports and pricing strategy 
  • Segment analysis and optimization of our GTM strategy - sub-segmentation, persona development, new market opportunities
  • Celebrating successes and growing our FinTech business! 

Required Experience

  • Deep understanding of merchant services Underwriting and Risk Management for credit card and ACH processing - seeking candidates with 5+ years of experience in merchant services, electronic payments or bill pay
  • Familiarity with pricing for merchant services and the ability to analyze and interpret merchant statements, create net revenue calculations, etc.
  • High integrity, self-starter who can work independently and effectively collaborate with leadership team, and tackle day to day business requests while incorporating and influencing long term strategy 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to be agile and flexible in a fast growing and changing environment
  • Strong proactive personality - resourceful with creative thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Can do attitude, autonomous, detail oriented team player who likes to be part of a great team
  • Able to work independently and as a part of cross functional team 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present to and liase with senior leadership internally as well as with partners

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
