The Imprivata Demand Generation team is looking for an intern to support all aspects of demand generation, with a primary focus on campaign management. The Marketing Specialist will work individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost, and managing projects to completion. In addition, this role will work directly with the team to create and source content for the company's demand generation marketing campaigns and events.

This position will primarily work under the guidance of the Director of Global Demand Generation, but may also be assigned assignments with other staff within the department.

The primary responsibilities for this position include managing workflow for various marketing programs, email program support, and general marketing support.

This is a great opportunity for a Communications, Marketing, or other related major to get real, hands-on corporate marketing experience in the area of demand generation and account-based marketing. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented with strong writing and program management skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Email Campaigns

  • Develop and drive email marketing campaigns. Write email content promoting recommended assets, collaborate with project stakeholders, and leverage marketing operations assistance in deploying through Marketo.
  • Measure and report on effectiveness reflecting contribution to MQL, pipeline and opportunities.


  • Work with project stakeholders to gather all assets needed for webinar, including invitation email, registration form and landing page, thank you emails, and tracking campaign.
  • Measure and report on effectiveness reflecting contribution to MQL, pipeline and opportunities.

Department Support & General

  • Assist department with a wide variety of marketing projects, to possibly include contract submissions, brainstorming, direct mail, platform management and event support.
  • Research new technologies/opportunities for innovative campaigns.
  • Collaborate on campaign planning, making recommendations on integrated campaign elements to drive the buyer journey.
  • Assist Marketing team with additional projects, as assigned.
  • Participate in Marketing Department meetings and other organizational meetings.
  • Participate in strategic marketing planning and campaign concept development initiatives.


  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Ability to work dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Actively pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing or related discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, investigative research and critical thinking skills
  • Effective time-management, planning, and organization skills
