The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for managing an account's multi-channel operational support activities and managing a team of BSAs who support these activities. The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for coordination of new partners; inbound feeds into the system; management of outbound channels; and troubleshooting of any issues that arise day-to-day. He/she takes a lead role in managing the production of client deliverables, and serves as a primary liaison between client staff and Epsilon delivery and technology teams. He/she defines, approves, and enforces BSA standards and methodology within the team in order to improve quality, repeatability and on-time delivery of client marketing activities.

The Operations Manager has the primary responsibility for day to day management of a large, active client. The Operations Manager creates project plans and tracks and drives progress towards the delivery objectives established mutually with the client in the SOW while ensuring delivery best practices are employed.
Create project plans and monitor overall project progress and delivery quality
Facilitate good communication within the Epsilon team and with the client
Troubleshoot project issues and engage the appropriate resources as needed
Escalate any significant issues to the appropriate management team as needed
Ensure project compliance with Epsilon's delivery SDLC and technology standards
Document and track project risks proactively and create mitigation plans for serious risks
Negotiate issues resolution in a matrix management environment with multiple priorities
Actively prioritize team workload to ensure quality results are delivered on time within budget
Provide leadership and mentoring to team

Required experience includes:
6 years management experience of both people and systems
Managing execution of operations support teams
Developing processes to optimize or automate operational support activities
Acting as individual contributor and leader of BSA activities throughout the SDLC lifecycle: gathering requirements, translating business requirements into functional/business specifications, creating test plans, and executing against test plans
Production of client deliverables
Consulting with external client contacts

Relevant experience may include some or all of the following:
Has supported Change Management and Issue Management
Has had experience consulting with external client contacts
Has experience working in a service organization
Has contributed to or authored client deliverables
