Tripadvisor: Marketing Manager, Restaurants

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join our fast-growing team as a Marketing Manager.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, this position has primary responsibility for leading and implementing programs supporting Tripadvisors suite of online marketing tools. Youll drive demand generation for Tripadvisor B2B products, convert restaurant owners to paying customers, and onboard and retain customers through compelling and personalized campaigns.

What you'll do:

  • Define concepts and strategy for lifecycle-based owner marketing programs and demand gen campaigns. Lead creative development and execution of campaigns.

  • Identify and optimize key opportunities to influence customer behavior and drive towards TripAdvisors Restaurant Solutions goals

  • Partner with internal creative team by building briefs rooted in strategy and clear business objectives and by managing the process of gaining stakeholder alignment from the brief to creative reviews to final concepts.

  • Translate business goals into accurate delivery requirements, including but not limited to: specifying required data, segmentation & targeting logic, and dynamic content requirements

  • Proactively influence and work with internal partners, specifically the Product, Creative and Engineering teams, to gain alignment on how the restaurants strategy can best be executed in our experience across all customer touch points. Manage cross-functional projects, working closely with other internal teams to ensure efficiency and drive toward team goals.

  • Partner closely with the Product lead to understand product roadmaps, plans and timelines. Design and lead execution of go-to-market strategy for new products and features.

  • Conduct regular, extensive experimentation (A/B and Multivariate Testing) to facilitate rapid learning & application of any insights

  • Articulate and present data analyses and learnings effectively to the team and to key stakeholders

  • Implement changes to process and strategy based on data, learnings, and collaborative input

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or a related field

  • 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a global B2B ecommerce setting

  • Results-driven individual, proven success at designing and delivering email, web, and other digital marketing programs that grew core business value through changes in behavior

  • Strong project management and campaign management skills required, must be able to think both strategically and operationally

  • Excellent communication and writing skills and ability to effectively convey project status and results to internal stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively

  • Flexible and open to change and new ideas

  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organization and analytic skills absolutely required

  • Experience of working in an international environment/organization preferred

  • Teamwork skills essential; sense of humor preferred
