Marketing Analyst

Indigo improves grower profitability, environmental sustainability, and consumer health through the use of natural microbiology and digital technologies. Utilizing beneficial plant microbes and agronomic insights, Indigo works with growers to sustainably produce high quality harvests. The Marketing Analyst role will play a pivotal and instrumental part in helping Indigo change the world for many stakeholders. The reports, data and insights produced will fuel the marketing and targeting strategy, enabling Indigo to increase grower profitability, the planets sustainability and consumer health globally. This is a role of a lifetime for a curious-minded, elite analyst seeking master-class level responsibility in a dynamic and exciting business.


Establish reporting templates and baseline reports across all marketing channels

  • Gather reporting needs from CMO, integrated marketing, channel leads, international partners and key business stakeholders
  • Establish and build templates to report out on business needs
  • Update and send reports out monthly, eventually creating automated dashboards

Become a thought leader and partner to marketing leads to provide valuable data and insights

  • Create ad hoc reports as requested, and proactively analyze performance and trends
  • Participate in campaign pre and post-mortems to provide insights and reporting that will help steer campaign tactics and plans
  • Create an automated brand report across all channels that can be regularly accesses by business and marketing stakeholders

Establish yourself as the source of truth for all segmentation work supporting automated and campaign marketing

  • List building for marketing campaigns
  • List/name acquisition from 3rd party sources
  • Develop the dashboard/reports that will allow the business to visualize the experience each customer segment is having with Indigo automated and ad hoc/campaign
  • Develop tracking and attribution strategy for brand and commercial/performance marketing
    • Lead/Conversion count reporting
    • Lead/Conversion source attribution tracking
    • Specify requirements for Salesforce configuration changes, test and launch
  • Surface the insights necessary to optimize efforts

Own monthly and quarterly reporting requirements & analytics, which will eventually be owned by the associate analyst

  • Ad hoc reports
  • A/B Testing
  • Build & refine marketing dashboard within 90 days
  • Competitive analysis - monthly reports & campaign specific analysis
  • Funnel metrics
  • Seminar performance reporting

Hire and lead an Associate Analyst


  • Excellent communicator, can tell the story behind the numbers
  • Strong understanding of scaling and automating the reporting processes
  • Defining and tracking customer stages/funnel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proven effective communicator with IT teams
  • Great attention to detail, while still being able to see the big picture


  • 6-8 years of professional experience
  • 2-3 years of operations or analytics experience, preferred
  • MBA focused in Analytical Marketing, Operations, Economics, or Finance, preferred
  • Experience with attribution software (Bizible), preferred
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools: Google Analytics, Marketing Automation, Business Intelligence
  • Must have experience with reporting
