Reporting to the Head of Engineering, Lead QA Engineer will lead strategy and execution of our full stack quality assurance. You will ensure we are delivering stable, bug-free code which services our rapidly expanding network of clinicians.

You will...

• Lead QA efforts for testing our backend REST API, Web apps, and mobile apps(iOS and Android)
• Lead a small team comprising of offshore manual and automation QA engineers of varying seniority
• Write and execute test plans and automation scripts
• Participate in the biweekly release process
• Own the process of creating and documenting metrics to measure and monitor product quality and performance
• Perform bug triage and defect tracking using JIRA
• Communicate with a wide range of stakeholders (Users, Product, and Engineering) to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives, and develop processes and/or tools as needed

You have...

• Several years of hands-on QA engineering experience in consumer and/or enterprise software
• Proficiency in leading a small, offshore QA team in an agile and iterative Software Engineering environment
• Strong QA automation experience using a variety of tools like Postman, Selenium, Cypress, TestProject, etc
• Proven ability to supervise, delegate, schedule, and assign work to achieve goals
• Knowledge and experience in SQL
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate complex issues and form strong working relationships with Engineering and Product teams
• Exposure to building CI/CD pipelines using tools like CircleCI, Github Actions, or Jenkins (preferred)
• Some experience in DevOps especially AWS (preferred)
• Experience in writing scripts using bash or python (preferred)Healthcare industry experience (preferred)
