The global Supply Chain Integration (SCI) team sits at the core of Wayfairs business. SCI facilitates the exchange of information with over 10000 suppliers through millions of individual daily data feeds. We aspire to build real-time, automated, and accurate data feeds across all suppliers to support mission critical business processes such as inventory, purchase orders, order tracking and invoicing. The sophistication of our suppliers span a wide spectrum, complicating the SCI mission. As Wayfair grows, we need to be ahead of the curve in defining, building and implementing future-proof integrations with our suppliers.

The integration management function within SCI works with our vast network of suppliers to design, deploy, and manage all integrations. In addition, this team is responsible for driving the adoption of strategic Wayfair initiatives through our supplier base. As we grow, we need to be ahead of the curve in identifying opportunities, designing solutions, and implementing change with our suppliers and internally.

As an Integration Manager, youll oversee a cohort of suppliers, developing and driving an integration strategy across your portfolio to implement best in class integrations between Wayfair and our Suppliers. An ideal candidate has a passion for technology and how it can enable business processes and understands how technology is transforming the operations landscape. The ideal candidate is also an energetic team player, self-starter and is comfortable driving results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company. With high visibility to senior leadership across the organization, an Integration Manager must possess a strong senior presence and be effective leading and navigating a matrix organization, where communication, influencing others and prioritization are as valued as much as project execution and opportunity identification.

What you will do:

  • Oversee a subset of suppliers, driving a holistic strategy to bring efficiencies and improved supply chain visibility to Wayfair and our supplier partners and your portfolio
  • Develop an integration strategy for your supplier portfolio and execute against this strategy
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to better collaborate and drive process improvement by leveraging technology and integration
  • Deep dive suppliers operational processes and technical infrastructure
  • Drive improved supplier performance through analysis and integration
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to better collaborate and drive process improvement by leveraging technology and integration
  • Promote supplier adoption of best in class technology and processes (EDI, API, ERP, WMS, etc.)
  • Report trends in your portfolio and collaborating with peers to develop new tools and technology to help our suppliers and Wayfair work more efficient and effectively
  • Work cross-functionally company-wide with Category Management, Logistics, Warehouse Fulfillment, Engineering, Finance and much more.
  • Travel to suppliers warehouses to better understand processes and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Attend Tradeshows to visit supplier key stakeholders to gain executive buy-in of integration and automation
  • Develop a baseline understanding of EDI, API and FTP technologies
  • Report overall trends and progress in your space to senior management and cross-functional partners

Youre a great fit if you have:

  • A Bachelor Degree
  • 3+ years of e-commerce, supply chain, logistics, purchasing, retail merchandising or management consulting experience
  • Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A passion for technology and technical aptitude
  • A track record of successful relationship management skills
  • An ability to hit the ground running an entrepreneurial self-starter
  • Demonstrated senior presence, recognized as an effective manager
  • An Ability to manage and prioritize projects, and to delegate tasks appropriately
  • Innovative problem-solving skills dissect and identify root causes of problems, and implement solutions
  • A Track record of taking on big challenges and delivering despite obstacles and limited resources
  • Experience in business and data analytics, Excel, SQL is a bonus
