The Inside Sales Intern is responsible for selling Lookout products and services to enterprise customers in the US through outbound telesales. You will utilize telephone/communications skills to develop a sales pipeline in your assigned territory through the creation of leads, initiation of prospect calls and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers. Youll be part of a team that includes sales managers and sales engineers, working collectively to meet/exceed monthly and quarterly sales performance goals.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new business through cold and warm leads
  • Identify decision makers within target accounts to initiate sales process
  • Maintain and expand business with existing customers
  • Collaborate with Territory Account Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Create and deliver qualified opportunities to Territory Account Managers
  • Maintain and expand the companys database of prospects in Salesforce CRM
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations and other sales actions
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into qualified leads
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices and prepare sales reports
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers

Qualifications/Skills

  • 0 6 months of experience or an internship within sales, sales support or business development
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Self-starter with a competitive sales hunter mentality
  • Detail oriented with prompt administrative follow up and attention to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an account team
  • Comfort with portraying a high level of professionalism and confidence to clients via phone and email
  • Interest in exploring a career in Sales
