The role of Indirect Tax Senior Analyst will be responsible for extracting large sets of data for review and analysis, liaising with 3rd party to complete quarterly and annual tax filings, play an instrumental role in working with Regulatory on reporting needs, and resolve any and all tax notices with relevant authorities.

Responsibilities:

Own the following processes:

  • Coordinate with service providers on franchise annual and quarterly filings
  • Coordinate with Tax department on where Fault lines lie
  • Sales & use tax filings/oversight
  • Regulatory filings
  • Resolve tax notices with relevant tax authorities
  • Gain a general understanding of legal entity distinctions/importance

Recommend process improvements within data systems to better facilitate our current processes

Become comfortable with data extraction from general ledger system

Quickly assimilate into the Finance group to ensure seamless support to business organization and internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of work experience
  • Bachelors degree, required
  • Accounting and systems understanding at a base level
  • Indirect tax experience, preferred
  • Orientation towards finance/business as a career
  • E-commerce or financial technology service industry experience, preferred
