Job Description
As a HR Benefits Compliance Consultant, you will support the Benefits Compliance group with the design, development, and maintenance of CVS Health Retirement and H&W compliance programs. The HR Benefits Compliance Consultant will primarily assist with the delivery of the compliance obligations for HR Benefits related to retirement and health and welfare programs offered by CVS Health to their own colleagues. Specific duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:
- Assist with Benefits audit processes for internal and external audit
- Assist with the delivery of regulatory compliance obligations, such as SEC, tax filings (Form 5500, 8955-SSA, M-1, etc.), required participant communications (Fee Disclosure, Annual Notices, SARs, etc.), and plan documents (SPDs, SMMs, etc.) and amendments
- Assist/implement new or changes to existing programs and processes
- Manage and execute testing obligations of retirement and health and welfare plans, including non-discrimination and 410(b)
- Support internal stakeholders in the resolution of non-routine escalated or sensitive issues (e.g., DOL, PBGC or IRS audits, EPCRS filings, Tier III participant dispute escalations)
- Maintain legal documents and process documentation
- Serve as project team member on specified initiatives

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience with Retirement and/or H&W Plan management, benefit plan audit, or compliance

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with compliance, testing and reporting in benefits (retirement and/or health)
- Ability to work on multiple ongoing, time-sensitive compliance projects across multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Flexibility to coordinate ad-hoc, unexpected deliverables as they occur
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
- Familiarity with regulatory agencies and filings impacting benefits (DOL, IRS, PBGC, SEC)
- Ability to understand and explain complex compliance communications to stakeholders (e.g., participants, HR business partners, colleagues, vendors)
- Basic understanding of financial reporting
- Strong communications skills

Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
