Reporting to the Directorof IT, the Help Desk Technician will assist with day to day help deskoperations including resolving support requests, imaging workstations, andprovisioning and training new users. Additionally, they will assist the fulltime IT staff with other projects as time permits.
Assist with troubleshooting efforts for computer hardware andsoftware
Help fulfill support requests from a wide variety of issues
Desktop installation and support for Windows 10 and Mac OS Xcorporate users
Assist with on-boarding of new users, including accountprovisioning and training
Work closely with the other IT team staff to effectivelycommunicate issues and recommendations
Occasional work outside normal working hours for specialprojects or critical incidents
Technical knowledge of Windows 7, 8.1, and 10workstation operating systems
Working knowledge of Mac OS X
A working understanding of computer networking
Experience with MS Office products (Word,Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills, ability to trackmultiple issues
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently and as part of ateam
Knowledge of the following is a plus:
VMware, IPSec VPNs, SSL VPN, RADIUS, 802.11x, ActiveDirectory, Linux OS, Mac OS X Server, Google Apps, Windows Server(2012,2016,2019), Cisco IOS, Powershell, JAMF Pro
