PatientPing is a venture-backed health technology company based in Boston, MA that is transforming healthcare delivery. We are building a national network that connects providers with real-time notifications when their patients receive care anywhere, so that providers can better coordinate patient care. Our customers include hundreds of health systems, physician organizations, and post-acute care providers across the country. Our vision is bold to build a national care coordination network that allows providers to put patients at the center of their care.
PatientPing is actively hiring a full-time Head of Marketing who will develop and execute the companys overall marketing strategy, including brand management, content creation and distribution, demand generation, and user marketing. This role reports into the SVP of Growth.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high performance teams in a fast-paced start-up environment, preferably within a B2B SaaS company focused on both SMB and enterprise customers. Healthcare experience is highly desirable.
What You Will Do:
Develop and execute PatientPings strategic marketing plan
Design, recruit, hire and engage a high performing marketing team
Oversee content, demand generation, product marketing and user marketing
Lead inspirational articulation of the PatientPing brand, and its growth and awareness across relevant stakeholders
What Success Looks Like:
In 3 months
Strong understanding of PatientPings products, organization and customers
Solid hypothesis on organizational design of marketing team
Built baseline strategic marketing plan for next 2 quarters
Ownership of marketing team OKRs
In 6 months...
Began building out marketing organization; clear org chart and job descriptions and objectives for each role
Took ownership of all marketing activities
Mapped customer segments and buying journeys
Outlined clear demand generation metrics in alignment with growth
Built consensus across the organization on brand strategy
In 12 months...
Made measurable impacts on companys growth and profitability
Built world-class marketing organization
Led hockey stick growth of key marketing metrics
Positioned PatientPing as high quality thought leader on key issues related to core business
What You Need:
8+ years of work experience in marketing
Experience in a leadership role in a high growth organization, building and managing a marketing organization with a strong ability to recruit, retain, and motivate existing team and future talent
Ability to think short term and long term; to be strategic and execute ("get hands dirty")
Demonstrated ability to turn company vision and product objectives into high quality messaging and collateral
Strong writing, analytical and presentation skills. Ability to understand complex problems and translate into simple concepts
High amounts of grit, humility, adaptability and curiosity
Healthcare experience a plus
