The mission for this role is to maximize the Go to Market impact of our exclusive OEM relationship with SAP, the worlds third largest Enterprise Software company. The Director will build an organization that consistently exceeds quarterly and annual new Sales Opportunity and ARR bookings targets by partnering at both field and corporate levels within SAP to drive solution campaigns and sales activities.
Success will be highly influenced by the ability to develop existing talent as well as recruit additional A players. A critical conviction for this role is that execution through a focus on process and development is the way we will create a scalable, predictable business that ultimately drives high customer growth with lasting customer value. Our SAP team will succeed by effectively entrenching our sales teams and solutions into the SAP teams selling motions. The Director is responsible for leading the Global SAP partner team and will be accountable for the success of our Go to Market with SAP including developing a business plan, demand generation, enablement, and sales execution. This role will focus heavily on enabling the SAP sales and solutions teams to effectively position and include Mendix in their customer solutions and BOMs. There will be tight alignment with the Mendix sales team and the role reports to our VP Global Channels.
- ~70% of time is focused on the SAP sales teams and ~30% is targeting the SAP Corporate Business Units to get our solution positioned in their Go to Market plays.
- Grow new SAP sourced ARR by >50% y/y
- Increase our SAP sourced QOs by 200%
- Maintain fully staffed team with time to fill open reqs of <60 days
- Achieve a time to productivity for new hires of 3 months or less
- Foster and exhibit cross functional collaboration and execution across all go to market teams
