What will you own?
- Assemble, test, and maintain prototypes of complex, high-end 3D printing systems
- Build prototype machines, custom test apparatuses and related equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, software and system performance
- Service, upgrade and repair prototypes to enable maximum uptime in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Work closely with engineering team to:
- Inspect, rework and manage inventory of prototype components.
- Provide design feedback and redline documentation
- Identify and correct quality issues during development and prototyping phases
- Generate documentation to clarify design and manufacturing details for prototype systems
- Maintain lab facilities, tools and equipment to support a diverse, passionate, fast-paced team

What you have:
- 4+ years experience building and maintaining complicated, high performance systems
- Strong hands-on skills focused on precision assembly of complex electromechanical devices, combined with a passion for cutting edge technology and continuous improvement
- History of contributing to a culture of technical excellence and teamwork
- Self-motivated and able to effectively manage time and priorities
- Able to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling and testing electrical & mechanical components. Solidworks experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Eager to learn new tools & technologies
- Strong skillset in one or more of the following areas:
- Mechanical assembly & repair
- Assembly, bringup, debug and rework of surface mount PCBAs
- Cable harness build and documentation
- Test equipment including sensors, DAQ, and software
- Fabrication techniques such as machining, sheet metal, welding 3D printing, etc
- Inventory management
