Director of Product Design (UI / UX)
We are looking for a Director of Product Designer to mentor and lead our UI UX Product Team. The role is a mix of UI / UX but with more emphasis on UX. We need an inspirational leader with super creative concepts and strategy, and experience working with complex systems & scopes. This position is a leadership role with a few direct reports however, a successful candidate sees themselves as an individual contributor and team player.
This individual will champion a user-centered design approach to ensure we ship products our customers love. Our design team works closely with Product Management and Engineering to translate user requirements into highly usable and successful product solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead design across our USA product family, oversee a homogeneous experience
- Generate cutting edge and high- quality deliverables that are thorough, concise, based on research, users, and work processes
- Be the subject matter expert in creating strong UX design and complex systems
- Direct, inspire, manage, and mentor design teams
- Constant improvements of design process, tools, and methodologies
- Create design initiatives that meet business objectives
- Strategy, concepting and hands on involvement in the designs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree and above
- Strong hands-on UX designer with 10+ years of experience in task analysis & research methodologies, creating concepts from scratch, detailed design, delivering to development and support
- Experience with complex systems & scopes
- Leading design teams for 5+ years
- Proven track record of UX design in complex B2B products, web and mobile
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate functional and UX choices to executives and stakeholders
- Ability to balance product requirements, UX best practices, customer insights and innovation
- Experience working with UI designers, product, and R&D teams
- Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills
- Experience with Figma, prototyping skills
- Strong portfolio showcasing user interfaces for both desktop and mobile platforms
