As the Director of Project Management for the Product Engineering organization, you will utilize your leadership skills and significant talents for Program Management, mobilizing cross-functional teams, delivering solutions for scale and data-driven decision-making, to lead and launch solutions that enable our products in Product Engineering. Your passion, technical and business depth, and excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills will inspire our teams and rapidly establish trust amongst a diverse set of stakeholders and customers.
You will focus on our customer platform and services we build in support of our enterprise customers. You are an excellent leader and have experience managing teams across different geographies to produce results in a timely manner. You will also be an excellent collaborator working with your customer teams, understanding their needs and ensuring that your team is appropriately resourced against their priorities. Setting vision and direction, improving productivity, quality standards, resolving systemic problems, identifying trends and implementing change are all keys to success.
Lead and inspire an organization of scrum masters, software engineers, architects and product owners
Partner with Engineering Directors, Product Managers and Leadership to ensure alignment with engineering and product priorities. Forecast resourcing requirements for TPM.
Provide oversight of delivery across the complete program; build a healthy, scalable and growth-oriented organization; and lead other groups to streamline processes, simplify execution, manager objective key results, release on time, bring tooling efficiencies and help teams in execution.
Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional counterparts to support project and program requests requiring support from this mission. Be a member of the PMO to drive improvements to current processes; and be a thought leader to help drive impact for Product Engineering.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in managing technical projects in a software engineering domain.
5 years of experience in leading teams within technical program management or equivalent roles.
Proven track record of collaborating effectively across organizational boundaries, building relationships, and importing and exporting talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
Ability to understand the complex relationship between the organization and its environment, identify connections, adopt different perspectives and quickly respond to changing circumstances in a strategic way.
Ability to demonstrate comfort with changing specifications or standards, and create the conditions in which the team feels comfortable and capable of working through in response to ambiguity.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that drive executional impact at scale.
