: Director of Product Management, Loyalty and Finance

Were tackling a wide array of fascinating, incredibly difficult problems - like helping a massive, rapidly growing
global customer base efficiently find the perfect products from our catalog of >10M items (with the majority of
traffic on mobile), building 2-sided marketplaces to connect consumers with interior designers and contractors,
and leveraging A/R and Computer Vision to help customers visualize products in their space. We have a modern
tech stack including sophisticated capabilities around AI, data science, multivariate testing and personalization.

As the Director of Product Management for Loyalty & Finance, you will assume a senior role on the leadership
team of a 50+ person STO (single threaded organization), of which there are only 90 across the whole company.
You will be the head of product for a workstream that enables customers to finance purchases for their home that
they might not otherwise be able to make, resulting in material contribution to Wayfairs growth. Loyalty & Finance
includes the Wayfair Credit Card, financing offerings, and gift cards in all of the geographies that we operate in.
You will lead a team of product managers who will bring this vision to life and serve as a key leader across the
broader product organization.

What Youll Do
Establish vision, strategy and product roadmap for our Credit Card, Financing, and Gift Card
experiences and platforms. This will include a combination of building and owning some features directly
and partnering with other teams to drive usage and awareness of these capabilities.
Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to build deep customer empathy and understanding of user
behavior. Translate customer problems into actionable solutions that surpass customer expectations for
whats possible.
Be an inspiring and humble leader for a team of 5 Product Managers (and cross-functional team of
engineers, analysts, and designers) and build strong team culture and develop exceptional talent.
Determine resourcing needs for your team and make compelling requests for additions when required.
Lead your teams to deliver business impact by launching and iteratively optimizing products that
improve our user experience in ways that lead to measurable gains in our core CLV-related metrics
(e.g., visit frequency, conversion rates, average order values, return rates, NPS).
Help us continue building our external reputation as an innovative tech company through public
speaking, engaging with our key development partners (including Apple, Google, Microsoft, and
Facebook), developing content and attending industry events.
As a member of our Product leadership team, help us continually improve our overall department across
a variety of topics: recruiting, learning & development, team culture, product development processes,
partnering with other Wayfair departments and external speaking/content generation.


What Youll Need
Track record of building high-impact products at scale. 10+ years of Product Management experience,
ideally within a mix of start-up and complex organization settings
Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team. 3+ years of experience successfully leading and
growing teams that are highly effective both in terms of impact and team culture.
Passionate about building functional and engaging user experiences.
Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically, with a desire to roll up your sleeves and
coach through doing when warranted.
Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience with hypothesis-driven learning and turning data
into actionable insights.
Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics
Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic, fast-paced organization
Passion for building cross-functional partnerships across engineering, design and analytics leadership
teams
Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for action and ability to deal with extreme ambiguity and rapidly
changing environments.
