About the position: Globalization Partners is looking for a dynamic and successful Director of Global Talent Acquisition leader to assess, improve and scale our global talent acquisition strategies, processes and programs to ensure Globalization Partners hires the best employees and provides candidates an engaging experience. Globalization Partners plans to hire 100 employees by the end of 2019, with new headcount planned in every continent except Antarctica!  Further to that we expect to double in size in 2020; double again in 2021; and double again in 2022.

Our growth for the next five years is expected to scale from 140 to 1,500 and this role’s primary job is to attain our headcount targets, via a team. The Director of Global Talent Acquisition will lead our international recruiting efforts in Boston and via his or her global team. We are looking for someone with experience building high-growth tech companies, who has a passion for global work; who demonstrates grit and agility, and who has the ability and experience to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, competitive, high-volume environment.

Job Duties:

  • Build and manage our internal recruiting team to execute on our global growth plans to scale the company from 140+ (current headcount) to 1,500 within five years
  • Assess, develop, implement, and refine global recruiting strategies to attract and hire top talent for Globalization Partners with a commitment to diverse hiring practices
  • Establish global sourcing strategies and a network of partners
  • Partner with business leaders and Human Resources colleagues to anticipate talent needs and to pro-actively build a pipeline of ready-now candidates
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to assess trends and identify opportunities to evolve sourcing strategies
  • Collaborate with and across all departments and stakeholders globally to effectively communicate and overcome any potential obstacles
  • Champion Globalization Partners culture and ensure cultural consistency as the company grows and scales
  • Build long term strategies to increase our employer brand
  • Manage the recruiting budget, vendors and all associated recruiting expenses
  • Source and manage a high-volume / global requisition workload
  • Responsible for the selection, implementation, and ongoing use of all recruiting tools and platforms
  • Support global best practices, including regional legal requirements
  • Develop sourcing strategies through a variety of channels including the use of social media platforms, events and vendor relationships

Required Skill Set:

  • Must have the experience to demonstrate that you can execute on our global growth plans to scale the company from 140+ (current headcount) to 1,500 within five years
  • 10+ years of progressive global talent acquisition experience; must have a proven track record of success leading a global TA function
  • Experience leading a team of international recruiters for a high-growth tech company required
  • Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail, yet also see “the big picture”
  • Proven success attracting and hiring sales, technical, HR, administrative and leadership positions
  • Experience building out existing and emerging markets (including EMEA, APAC and LATAM)
  • Proven people management and leadership skills: you know how to build, mentor and grow a team of world-class recruiters across multiple functional areas
  • Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Inclination to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get a job done
  • Ability to build effective relationships with all levels of an organization including C-Suite
  • Ability to develop and utilize analytics to identify trends
  • Strong executive presence, cultural awareness, work ethic and dependability
  • Software/technology experience and implementation expertise (ATS, LinkedIn, Workday, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must have knowledge and experience working with global compensation bench marking tools for sourcing and recruiting purposes, as well as a solid understanding of the employee life cycle
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
