We are actively hiring a full-time Director of Software Engineering who wants to help create something meaningful that will greatly impact peoples lives. In this role, you are accountable for the health and effectiveness of PatientPing's software development organization. We view our successes not just by what we do, but by how we do them we operate with empathy and a team first attitude.
What You Will Do:
Work with the VP of R&D and other engineering leaders to evolve the culture, vision, and structure of the Product Engineering team
Recruit, hire, mentor, inspire, and retain top talent
Be a technical leader with empathy and strong interpersonal skills
Support and partner with engineering management to set clear expectations and patterns for growth
Provide overall architectural leadership and guidance
Create an environment that promotes the creation of quality code and comprehensive QA
Collaborate with the Product team to produce our next generation of industry-leading healthcare products
What You Need:
Demonstrated success leading software development organizations for complex, distributed SaaS solutions
Significant experience managing teams
10+ years writing and designing modern software solutions, preferably including Java
Data processing expertise, including relational and non-relational technologies
Experience implementing cloud-based containerized architectures (AWS preferred)
Experience hiring in fast paced growth companies
Functional understanding of Terraform
