CarGurus: Dealer Relations Account Specialist, Spanish Speaking

This role will focus on working with existing CarGurus dealer clients. The primary challenge of Account Specialist will be to increase customer retention and boost customer performance. Additionally, AS' will be charged with consulting with our dealer clients on all facets of the car industry to help grow their businesses.

The Account Specialist is an account manager in a sales training role. Each AS manages a book of ~$85,000 MRR. DRAS I reps manage newly sold small independent accounts and work to reduce churn by building trust through person to person relationships with our clients, educating them on our products, and helping them sell more cars. Their commission is based on Net Dollar Retention.

CarGurus Dealership customer base has various feedback and questions about CarGurus platform, so candidates will need to wear a customer service hat and be able to listen and respond to dealers and solve their issues in a timely manner. In this role, candidates must also be comfortable conveying issues to the rest of the CarGurus organization. Candidates must bring strong analytic, presentation, and problem solving skills. AS team members will have short-term up-sell opportunities and longer-term renewal and sales-based business objectives, so candidates should demonstrate an appetite for selling and continuous on-the-job development.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 1-2 years of closing experience
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Good organizational & problem solving abilities
  • Strong internal motivation
  • Industry experience a Plus
