Job Description
We are hiring for an Operations Analytics and Insights - Data Analyst role. In this role you will be focused on building out advanced analytic capabilities and utilizing statistical/predictive modeling techniques to support the development of new programs, tools and processes for CVS SimpleDose. This role is a unique opportunity to develop impactful models and then lead the integration of those models into CVS production systems, where theyll affect rapid growth and day to day operation for SimpleDose.
The initial focus of the role will be to work on machine learning and/or artificial intelligence solutions to enhance the SimpleDose operation analytics. Some examples of this could be anomaly detection to catch and prevent errors in the SimpleDose pharmacy; natural language processing to pull specific elements out of text-based customer feedback; automation of dashboards and maintenance of financial reports.
This role can be based in our Woonsocket, RI or Northbrook, IL office or has flexibility to work remotely in the U.S.

Required Qualifications
*2+ years experience with data modelling/analytics with SQL, R, and Excel
*1+ years experience coding in statistical packages (like Python, R, and SAS) with strong quantitative skills, including relevant experience in logistic regression, cluster analysis, time series analysis, inferential statistics, and experimental design
*2+ years processing large datasets (measured in hundreds of millions or billions of records) using SQL or SQL-like query syntax
Preferred Qualifications
*3+ years experience with machine learning techniques and other quantitative research analytics such as: Non-Linear Regression Analysis and Multivariate Analysis.
*Healthcare industry knowledge and/or experience
* Hadoop, Hive, or Spark experience
* Experience with advanced Tableau and/or MicroStrategy
* Ability to quickly develop knowledge and understanding of new domains and underlying data sources
* High level of attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines
* Demonstrated experience in working with business partners and/or clients to identify the business problem, identifying proper data, constructing analytic solutions to the business problem and then presenting the data insights along with creative recommendations
Education
*Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
