The focus of this team is to drive global awareness of the Mirakl brand and grow customer base (new logos, GMV growth, upsells, and renewals) with great stories told by strong customer advocates.
The team achieves this through a mutually beneficial exchange between Mirakl and its customers - who we call Platform Pioneers in recognition of their industry leadership.
Customer Marketing & Community goes beyond traditional Customer Marketing by providing more opportunities for personal brand visibility, peer connections & learning, and business insights to Pioneers throughout their platform journey. While delivering value to Mirakl Pioneers, this team will develop deeper Platform Pioneer knowledge and relationships to identify new opportunities to tell Pioneer stories across channels and in the field. Through this approach, Mirakl will ensure that customers remain the North Star at the center of all its marketing activities.
Mirakl is looking for a Director/Sr Manager Customer Marketing & Community, reporting to the Head of Customer Marketing & Community, to oversee activities in its Americas & APAC region. This role will support the management of Platform Pioneer advocates and the co-marketing go-to-market plans, community events & engagement, marketing to customers programs, and driving go to market plan and evangelization for Business Insights.
This role will be highly collaborative, working with internal teams to support Marketing, Platform Advisory, Sales / Account Management, and Customer Success related to Platform Pioneers for the region.
This leader will be hands-on, internally and in the field, overtime, building a team of regional marketing specialists to support the management of the Platform Pioneer program in the Americas and APAC region.
Platform Pioneer go-to-market: EXTERNAL
Oversee region of customers from a marketing perspective, acting as a key member of the Customer Success account team
Proactively engage regional Platform Pioneers throughout their lifecycle journey, identifying long-term co-marketing opportunities such as press releases, case studies, and speaking opportunities & collaborate with corporate marketing to bring to bring to market
Take accountability for the effectiveness of Platform Pioneer marketing campaigns
Engage advocates across roles to gain diversity and avoid being single-threaded in an organization
Platform Pioneer go-to-market: INTERNAL
Platform Pioneer knowledge management: Organize & validate existing content in region, identifying opportunities for new/refreshed stories (including logos usage & customer dossiers)
Platform Pioneer database: Track advocates & engagements (incl. references) in SFDC
Platform Pioneer Business Insights
Bring business insights to market, partnering with the Platform Advisory Team to leverage Mirakl-powered marketplace data
Support sales teams needs for Business Insight presentations
Design & execute go-to-market strategy for customers, going beyond the public reports
Proactively recommend new ways to influence GMV growth through data & insights (seller trends emails, holiday trends, etc)
Platform Pioneer community
Work with regional Customer Success to identity & suggest Platform Pioneer events
Coordinate events (incl Advisory Boards), planning logistics, theme, and agenda
Recruit & manage event attendees
Capture insights gathered during events & drive follow up from a marketing relationship perspective
Orchestrate Platform Pioneer Community portal content & engagement (always looking for stories)
Platform Pioneer marketing to customers
Participate in Account Planning process for region
Identity & run Mini-Summits (EBCs) for Focus Accounts & Tier 1 opportunities: Advise on agenda, participants, create/organize content & manage coordination
Package journey-driven content: Mirakl product spotlights (upsell & adoption), business insights emails, & webinar events
Report Platform Pioneer Marketing activity results to stakeholders
Be a trusted advisor to Platform Pioneers on Marketing their Marketplace for maximum success
8+ years experience in executive customer-facing account management and/or marketing roles
2-3 years experience managing a team
Experience effectively interacting with internal & external executives
Inspiring influencer with exceptional presentation skills
Experience creating highly compelling customer stories both internally and externally
Demonstrated success in event management, from planning to execution
Ability to hear objectives and craft agenda and content accordingly
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with multiple teams and represent the company in a positive, professional manner
