ZoomInfo is looking for a creative, talented content writer to produce content for our
Community Data Team (CoDaT). This fun, bicoastal, and international team focuses heavily on
content, data research, and search engine optimization for a series of websites. The role requires
strong attention to detail, exceptional writing skills, the ability to create engaging content, and
critical thinking. Above all else we are looking for a team player who values collaboration and
This position will report to the Content Director.
Work closely with the CoDaT members to ensure content reflects ZoomInfos overall
Collaborate with colleagues to expand content offerings, customer engagement, and
platform features for a series of new or relaunched products.
Create monthly or quarterly reports that provide an overview of certain B2B technology
markets and offer guidance to buyers of these technologies.
Conduct data-based research some of it independently, and some of it with the
assistance of ZoomInfos Research Team.
Write long-form pieces as assigned that examine market trends, B2B technologies, and
data some pieces may be more than 1,500 words.
Proofread and edit materials as assigned.
Understand and communicate technical subjects in a clear and concise manner.
Give an authoritative voice to content and other marketing collateral.
Desired skills and core competencies
Strong skills in writing, story structure, and grammar.
Experience in creating content in a professional setting, preferably at a marketing
department, online publication, or communications office.
Critical thinking, particularly as it applies to interpreting data and analyzing trends
Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects at once.
Being comfortable working with colleagues in remote offices, which frequently includes
video chats and other ways of keeping in touch.
Knowledge about the B2B technology market.
Ability to positively receive edits and critiques of writing.
An interest in data-based content experience in this area is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
BA/BS in marketing, journalism, data science, communications, or English.
Two to four years of experience in content marketing or professional writing.
