Content Marketing Manager (Co-marketing)

We’re building a platform that unblocks product teams from easily improving user engagement. They can do this by implementing things like user onboarding flows, feature announcements, and NPS surveys in a personalized and targeted way.
HOW CONTENT CONTRIBUTES:
We’ve grown 320% in 2017 and 250% the year prior due to strong organic inbound marketing generation and a highly engaged user base.
The crux of our inbound marketing strategy relies on high-quality content marketing, creating spaces for our community to connect with one another. Our content outlets currently include the Appcues Blog, Really Good UX (which was nominated for a Product Hunt Golden Kitty Award!), and The User Onboarding Academy, Product Talk Series—with more to come.
That’s where you come in...
It’s time for us to accelerate co-marketing. You will help us expand our community by placing Appcues-authored articles and videos on other SaaS and tech publications.Some potential responsibilities: - Source (or write), edit, and place Appcues-written blog articles and videos on external publications - Own the distribution and promotion of content across a wide variety of channels - Develop relationships with our community through social channels and elsewhere - Champion content internally to create new content ideas and bring them to production - Analyze the performance of content programs in relation to their goals and find ways to improve The ideal candidate has: - A BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience. A degree in English, Communication, or Journalism is preferred - A bias toward action. Can take a project from the initial glimmer of an idea to a robust and polished, published article - Strong writing skills and experience writing for a specific style and different tones - The ability to tell a good story and a keen eye for line edits - Community built into their DNA—a connector of people - The ability to work will with all skill levels of writers, tactfully edit their work, and inspire them to contribute - The ability to prioritize projects and communicate priorities effectively - A digital footprint and experience in building a following or community - A learner mindset Our company values:
