Position Overview

The Compensation Analyst will join the FP&A team reporting directly to the SR. Director of FP&A, managing all aspects of Sales compensation. In addition, the individual will provide business insight throughout the organization using analytical and interpersonal skills to drive decision making and support a growing SaaS Business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Commission plans
    • Development and delivery of all Go-to-market team compensation plans
    • Communicate and train resources on their respective plans
    • Administrative owner of the commissions tool.
  • Validate and Calculate Monthly Commissions
    • Assurance of accuracy for the monthly commissionable performance
    • Calculate commissions on a select group of complex plans
    • Preparation of standardized reports and insightful analysis for CFO and other key stakeholders on performance
    • Performance Management of monthly spiffs
  • Act as the trusted business advisor to the business unit owners
    • Partner with Sales Leaders, Operations, Payroll on all aspects of commission performance
    • Effectively Communicate with plan participants on their performance
    • KPI reporting and analysis on territory quota
  • Participate in monthly forecasting and the annual budgeting process
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation
  • Provide support and analysis for all special projects as needed


  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations or Compensation Roles
  • Technology (SaaS) industry experience is plus
  • system experience is a plus
  • Understanding of compensation plans and metrics is required
  • Proficient Excel skills
  • Proven ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-pasted environment
  • Desire to work in a start-up environment is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with a variety of audiences within the organization is required
