The iRobot Americas business has grown rapidly and this geography continues to hold significant potential. With one out of two robots purchased online, and the consumer journey starting there, were seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to help support the next chapter of growth, focusing on the consumer journey and the brand online expansion. This multi-faceted individual contributor role will work cross functionally to drive impact for our customers, retailers and iRobot.
o Ability to support Americas trade marketing strategy, promotions, and retail execution
o Works both independently and cross-functionally to ensure retailer and retailer.com product content, imagery, pricing is kept current and properly maintained
o Participates in all aspects of in-store and online merchandising development, timeline and execution of existing brand presence, including current and new product launches
o Ability to monitor and provide recommendations for improvements to merchandising and retailer.com sites for consistency and relevancy for all retailer sites within designated regions
o Assists in coordinating and uploads content, and ensures all products are listed with accurate images/product descriptions/messaging in our Salsify system
o Reviews all retailer executional content and provides updates/requirements to all retailer activity on behalf of iRobot brand/merchandising/social media guidelines; elevates to manager for approval
o Gather data from various sources to measure online marketing/promotion success and supply site analytics and sales/program successes based on metrics set at the onset of campaigns
o Work with manager and retailer to plan and support retail digital marketing campaigns and set key KPI targets
o Work with display manufacturers and agencies to develop a successful retail shipper program
o Other duties and responsibilities as needed/assigned
Desired Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications:
o BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
o 3-4 years of experience preferred in trade marketing and digital merchandising.
o Experience with Canada and US DIY accounts
o Excellent organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work well independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
o Must be a strong team player with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining acute attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
o Experience with corrugate display/shipper programs a plus
o Experience with creative asset briefing
o Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
o Strong analytical skills and knowledge of website merchandising and analytics tools desired, including Salsify, Syndigo, and Web Collage.
o Understanding of common eCommerce KPIs, target setting, and external benchmarks.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
