In the APM Onboarding Specialist role, you will be responsible for the first customer experience for all of our strategic APM customers, assisting with their account and profile set up and providing guidance and training on best practices for the most efficient and effective securing of and closing of APM leads to achieve the customers growth goals. With an eye on setting the customer up for success in their intent to grow their business, you will work cross functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to help create a frictionless process for our customers, so that they can exit onboarding fully prepared to maximize their business growth potential.

What you'll do:

  • Proactive outreach to all new customers within 24-48 hours, conducting a welcome call, orienting them to the onboarding program, and beginning the account set up process
  • Gained understanding of customers business goals to optimize their APM account and experience for success
  • Education and training on best practices for securing and closing APM leads
  • Shared practices and policies around APM processes and policies for support or credit related requests
  • Persistent follow up with newly onboarded customers through their first 60 days to ensure success is being achieved
  • Proactive outreach to customers that have not engaged or have gone dark to re-engage them
  • High quality timely responses to inquiries or issues to assure that barriers are monitored and overcome
  • Iterate on the program using your personality and voice to create a memorable onboarding experience

Who you are:

  • High level of energy and enthusiasm, a desire to wow the customer and a passion for being part of a hard working team
  • Comfortable on the phone with one on one or one to many
  • Experience working well in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and highly accountable
  • Demonstrated empathy with challenges our customers face
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, balancing quality and progress
  • Self motivated, works independently, has good judgment and consistent follow-through
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce
