Job Description
Project Manager role with CVS Health's PMO that is driven by a vision to "improve the quality of human life of those we serve by making innovative and high-quality health and pharmacy services safe, affordable and easy to access.
Provides supervision and guidance to the project management team, oversees various systems projects of significant magnitude in terms of complexity, cost, time-constraints, internal and external staffing
Manage change and promote continuous improvement of project management related processes.
Ensure delivery of project and programs are on time, on budget and fall within organizational performance targets administered by the PMO, as well as adhere to the best practices and standard approaches for program and project management
Actively pursues issue resolution, and communicates project status/issues to business stakeholders and operational management.

Required Qualifications
5+ years experience in project management with application development and software lifecycle experience including:
2+ years managing a team of PMs
5 + years of experience managing a PMO enterprise organization
5+ years of experience operating effectively in a large, complex, and diverse global organization.
Understanding of software development methodologies such as RUP, Waterfall, etc
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.

Preferred Qualifications
PM experience in the Healthcare industry
Background in IT program management, budget management and execution.
Programming experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other Project Management Certification
MBA or Masters Degree

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline with information technology focus or relevant experience.
