The Advisor, Application Developer (Web) is responsible for development and support of Loyalty & Personalization and Retail Store related Web Applications. Plays a key role in the analysis, design, build and post deployment support of all web based solutions. Works closely and collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, IT Development staff and other partners in the development and delivery of Loyalty & Retail Store business solutions. In the performance of his duties, he will utilize knowledge in web based solutions in Java, ability to deliver assignments throughout the stages of project lifecycles, development experience in Java, Hibernate, Struts, Spring and Cloud Native technologies as well as development experience using Oracle & Teradata SQL.
5 + years of experience designing Enterprise web applications, Interface Design, Data Dictionary, Object orientation concept (Java / J2EE).
5 + years of experience in Java, J2EE Design Patterns, Object-Oriented design , Cloud Native development and code Optimizations.
5 + years of experience in building and consuming stateless Micro Services using Spring framework and deploy within Pass/Cloud platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry ( PCF).
5 + years of experience in integration layer development: RESTful APIs/ Spring/Web Services/JMS.
5 + years of experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g. Oracle, Teradata).
5 + years of Agile SDLC methodology, Continuous integration experience, code test coverage, security compliance and source control using Maven, Jenkins, GIT, SVN.
Development experience in a Retail environment
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
