Develop and build solutions leveraging those technologies. Work with product managers and Aetnas scrum team to effectively translate the business requirements into the BPM workflows and Java components that require engineering. Work with Java/J2EE, Node.JS software development, building native cloud solutions, big data technologies including BPM technology, APIs, microservices, CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, XML/JSON and developing REST Services. Engage with Aetnas cross-function team and work on agile practices, writing, debugging, delivering code, and producing solid, thoroughly tested features. Analyze current information technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities, recommend solutions, and provide delivery solutions through an Agile delivery methodology. Experiment with available tools and advise on new tools in order to determine optimal solution given the requirements dictated by the model/use case. Leverage multiple tools and programming languages to analyze and manipulate data sets from disparate data sources and work with bash shell scripts, UNIX utilities & UNIX Commands.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related. Minimum 5 years of software development experience. Must have the following experience: monitoring infrastructure using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Node.JS, Mongo DB and Kafka; developing REST APIs as a backend; designing, developing, deploying and troubleshooting various multithreaded service components interacting with Kafka pipeline; conducting identity management using OAuth 2.0 OpenAM/Keycloak, writing unit tests, testing and deploying components in various environments; automating API testing using Ready API tool and Jenkins; and analyzing and fine tuning application performance and optimizing the database indexes and stored procedures.
