Role & responsibilities:

The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in the analysis, reporting, and presentation of the Company’s financials. Accuracy and efficiency are equally important at Profitero and our Accounting Manager should be a problem solver who achieves results through teamwork and collaboration. This role will interact with all levels of the Company.

Reporting to the VP Finance, the Accounting Manager will be instrumental to ensuring proper financial systems and processes are in place to scale the Company at a fast growth rate.

Responsibilities include:


  • Manage monthly close processes, including revenue recognition, analysis and reconciliation of P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
  • Assist with preparation of annual budget and financial models
  • Lead annual audit process and liaise with external tax advisors
  • Manage treasury process and banking relationships
  • Develop and maintain technical accounting policies
  • Identify improvements for the accounting system and business processes with a goal towards optimization, automation and efficiency


  • Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting package, including financial statements, KPIs, and metric dashboards
  • Assist in maintaining company financial and expense policies
  • Assist with preparation of investor & Board of Director presentations

Qualification and Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 4-6 years of related work experience
  • Public accounting audit experience strongly preferred
  • Technical understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve desired company results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including vlookups and pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience implementing new systems and processes a strong plus
  • Experience with SaaS Companies and Key SaaS metrics a strong plus
