About the role

Validity is looking for Account Executives to join our high performing sales team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling Validitys Software as a Service products to companies across all industries with over 250 employees. The Account Executive is an inside sales/territory based position working in our Boston, MA office.

Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sell Validitys data quality products and services directly to businesses utilizing Salesforce.com, specifically Salesforce administrators, sales operations and marketing operations personnel responsible for the data quality within their organization
  • Are excellent listeners and know how to ask effective follow-on questions
  • Understand how to tell compelling stories which offer valuable and unique perspectives
  • Consistently attain and exceed monthly sales quotas
  • Initiate outbound prospecting, qualifying, and contact verification for Validity products and services
  • Qualify and screen all inbound inquires
  • Work in a team environment to drive all prospecting, qualification, sales activities and sales targets in a defined geography or territory
  • Utilize issue-based prospecting and sales techniques to uncover customer/prospect needs and correspondingly the value of the business problem we are attempting to solve
  • Become proficient with using the CRM Salesforce Automation tools for contact management, opportunity tracking, sales pipeline management, forecasting and sales reporting

Experience/Skills

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of successful quota carrying telesales experience selling technology products or services, calling on business influencers and meeting monthly performance objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make 60+ phone calls per day and build rapport over the telephone with Salesforce.com administrators, marketing operations and sales operations staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to detail
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage and forecast sales opportunities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Willingness to sell in a team environment, where interaction with other inside professionals and marketing personnel is necessary to achieve sales goals
  • SaaS sales experience is a plus, but not a requirement
