The ideal candidate has experience defining and growing impactful brands and is comfortable being hands on as well as mentoring a team. You will manage the global messaging output throughout all our touchpoints and serve as the authority on our voice. You have a vision for the structure, talent and development of the copywriting team and know how to build toward it. You believe in collaboration and are comfortable with healthy debate while building enthusiasm for your ideas. You bring authority and a point of view but also the ability to integrate different perspectives to focus on the greater goals of the project, team and business. Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and nurture a multidisciplinary global team: spanning site MX, channel marketing and content writers for all our NA & EU markets, setting the team vision and creating the environment for the team to grow, be inspired and get excited about the creative possibilities of our story.
  • Be customer obsessed: Get under the skin of our customers, and make sure our voice is infused with passion and comes across as genuine and inspiring.
  • Partner with strategy to develop and review creative briefs that provide strategic insight and creative inspiration.
  • Partner closely with creative leads and stakeholders across Marketing and beyond, to develop breakthrough creative concepts that balances the needs of the business with the needs of the brand.
  • Elevate our overall creative output: become a key leader within our Creative Leadership Team, evaluating and pushing work from “Good to Great”, from both internal teams and external agencies.
  • Evolve the expertise and focus of the copy team developing messaging that highlights our passion for small business owners.
  • Be an advocate for powerful storytelling and insight-led concepts in everything we do.
  • Oversee the messaging strategy and execution throughout all our touchpoints


About you

 

  • You are a creative change agent who leads through vision, passion and by example.
  • You have 10+ years of experience leading copy teams at leading agencies or in-house brands.
  • You have a strong portfolio of best work with an emphasis on insights driven conceptual thinking and copywriting excellence.
  • You have experience with Global integrated campaigns and marketing communications that cover the full E2E customer experience
  • You excel at thinking about the “big picture” while remaining detail oriented.
  • You are comfortable with fast changing environments and ambiguity - you thrive off the opportunity and are resilient to change.
  • You bring exciting thinking that gets people talking, but you never lose sight of the importance of strategy.
