Us in a nutshell

Mightier is an app-based, family program developed at Boston Children’s Hospital that empowers children with ADHD, autism, and anxiety to learn emotional control and supports the caregivers who love them. Kids wear a Mighty Band heart rate monitor while playing a library of biofeedback video games that react to their heart rate in real time. Kids practice self-calming skills to succeed in the games and then transfer those skills to life. Three clinical trials at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard, and Mass General have shown Mightier works as well as medications. The program has served over 20,000 families with over 6 million games played. Our mission is to empower millions of kids to become Mightier than their emotions.


What you’ll do

  • Work closely with product, marketing, science and engineering teams to identify important questions around how our customers use our products, define key success metrics, and shape data-informed product/business strategies

  • Report to the VP of Product depending on your level of experience

  • Perform analyses on large sets of data to extract actionable insights on user behavior that will help drive product, marketing, and design decisions

  • Own and develop the strategic analytic agenda across multiple lines of business to unlock insights and guide the business – everything from identifying, testing and optimizing new features to broad level strategic direction

  • Develop strong hypotheses, independently solve problems, and share insights to key stakeholders across the company

  • Develop key metric dashboards and automated reporting

  • Manage and mentor junior colleagues


Who you are

  • You have 3-7yrs experience in a similar analytics roles and a degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or another quantitative discipline

  • You are a great storyteller – a communicative person who builds relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and can explain complex topics in simple terms

  • You have a strong business sense and are motivated to achieve company-level impact 

  • You are capable of tackling very loosely defined problems and lead insights work

  • You have experience designing and executing tests that deliver key product and marketing learnings

  • You have the competence to perform advanced analytics:

    • Event-based analytics experience (Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc)

    • Product-level dashboarding (Metabase, Chart.io, etc)

    • Statistical competence (regression modelling, a/b testing, significance testing etc)


Nice to have: Data ETL experience (Snowflake, AWS Glue, etc)
